This new small-scale resort opened in September 2000. It is located on a flat stretch of land with a beautiful hilly backdrop, facing west to the lovely Nalova Bay. It has a beautiful; white sand beach with all tide swimming in the turquoise lagoon. It was named in memory of the elders who used to fish in the lagoon.
GETTING THERE: The South Sea Cruises’ MV Treasure Flyer, also known as the DV (meaning ‘Rescue from the Sea’) drops guests off at Tavewa island to the south-west of Nacula. It is a short trip (about 20 minutes) by resort boat across to Oarsmans. GETTING AROUND: Walk along the inland tracks and along the beaches. The resort boat is used for trips, pick up from the DV and for transfers to Tavewa (F$5 per person). ACCOMMODATION: Dorm: There is an excellent 13 bed dorm above the kitchen/dining area which has a stunning view of the lagoon. Clean and airy. Private with communal facilities: Not available |
